Bishop da Cunha and regional bishops to lift the Sunday and Holy Day Mass dispensation
Bishop Edgar M. da Cunha, S.D.V., and regional Catholic bishops have together decided  to inform the Catholic faithful that the dispensation of the Sunday and Holy Day Mass obligation will be lifted on Father’s Day, June 19-20.
The obligation does not apply to those who are ill, recently exposed to COVID-19 or other communicable illnesses, those confined to their homes or other facilities for various reasons, and those who are not able to be vaccinated for specific reasons.
Please click on this link to ready the Bishop’s letter :  DFR- Sunday & Holy Day Mass Obligation

This means that our obligation as Catholics to attend Mass on Sunday (or Saturday Vigil) and Holy Days of Obligation resumes on June 19/20 unless as specified above.

All three buildings are open to full capacity and people may be seated as they choose. Reservations are no longer required.
The 9:30 am Mass is  inside Saint Mary Church.
The 4:00 pm will remain outside in the parking lot for the coming weeks.
If you are fully vaccinated, you are no longer required to wear a mask at Mass.
If you are not vaccinated, you are asked to be considerate of others and wear a mask indoors.
Anyone who feels more comfortable wearing a mask is able to do so.

Please be considerate of those around you.

Welcome Video

Welcome to Transfiguration of the Lord Parish!

As pastor, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our family of faith.  We continue to build upon the rich tradition of countless Catholics who sought to build their relationship with God upon solid rock.  Wherever you might find yourself worshiping and praying: at Saint Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church, Sacred Heart Church or at Saint Mark Church, know that the community of faith welcomes you and embraces you.

If there is anything that we can do to help make you feel at home in our spiritual community, please do not hesitate to contact the parish office which is located at 14 Park Street.  If you have any specific questions and or thoughts that you would like to share with me, please do not hesitate to contact me via email.  My parish email address is frrodneyccna@gmail.com and I am only an electronic second away.

Please know that there are many ministries if you would like to donate your time and talents.  Getting involved in the life of the community has a special way of making you feel “connected” to this special place.

Again, welcome to Transfiguration of the Lord Parish.  We hope that you feel at home as you gather to hear the Word of God and be nourished by the Eucharist.

Sincerely yours in Christ,

     Fr. Rodney

(Rev.) Rodney E. Thibault, J.C.L.

Act of Spiritual Communion

My Jesus,
I believe that You are present
in the Most Holy Sacrament of the altar.

I love You above all things,
and I desire to receive You into my soul.

Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart.

I embrace You as if You were already there
and unite myself wholly to You.

Never permit me to be separated from You.
